Tranmere Rovers ended a run of six straight defeats with a 2-0 win over Crawley Town at Prenton Park, securing only their fourth home league victory of the season.
The damage was done before the break thanks to Zech Obiero's strike and a Joe Ironside penalty, as the visitors slipped to a third consecutive defeat.
Obiero Pounces to Break the Deadlock
Rovers went ahead in the 12th minute when Obiero seized on a loose pass, surged forward and fired left-footed past Jacob Chapman.
