Norwich City beat Burnley 4-1 at Carrow Road, running out clear winners in a Championship matchday-three meeting shaped by two braces.
Mohamed Touré put the hosts ahead inside two minutes, and Andre Brooks doubled Norwich's lead three minutes later. Touré added his second in the 20th minute to make it 3-0 before Burnley pulled one back through Josh Laurent in the 26th. Brooks completed his own brace in the 66th minute to restore the three-goal margin.
Laurent was booked in the 27th minute and received a second yellow card in the 76th, leaving Burnley to finish the match with ten men.
Norwich made five substitutions, withdrawing both scorers, Brooks and Touré, together in the 70th minute with the game settled. Burnley used four substitutes of their own. Norwich also picked up cautions for Ruairi McConville, José Córdoba, Brooks and Anis Ben Slimane; Burnley's Zian Flemming was also booked.
