Bradford City claimed a 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic at Valley Parade, with Joe Wright's late header settling a contest that turned on two red cards for the visitors.
Stephen Humphrys put the Bantams ahead on the stroke of half-time and, after Callum Wright had levelled, Bradford made their extra numbers count when Joe Wright headed home Max Power's corner in the 89th minute.
A Cagey Opening
The game settled into a tight first half hour before the first real openings arrived. Raphael Borges Rodrigues fired over the bar for Wigan as the visitors looked to break the deadlock.
