Naylor's Late Header Earns Chesterfield a Point Against MK Dons

· Match Report

Tom Naylor netted a late equaliser to earn Chesterfield a League Two point in a 1-1 draw at home to MK Dons. The midfielder levelled with four minutes remaining to cancel out Rushian Hepburn-Murphy's first-half opener for the visitors.

Naylor's strike, his second goal of the season for the Spireites, preserved Chesterfield's unbeaten home league record on an evening when both sides created chances to take all three points.

Chances Traded Before the Breakthrough

MK Dons went close early on when Callum Paterson put a near-post header narrowly wide after meeting Dan Crowley's cross from the right. Chesterfield responded as Vontae Daley-Campbell drove a fierce shot into the side-netting.
