Fulham eased past AFC Wimbledon 3-0 in the League Cup second round on Thursday night, Álvaro Arbeloa's first win as the club's manager. Emile Smith Rowe and Rodrigo Muniz scored before the break, and Gonzalo García added a third in stoppage time.
It was a first goal in more than a year for Muniz, his previous one coming on the opening day of last season, and the result sends Fulham into a third-round tie with West Ham.
The tie was the first meeting between the clubs since 2001. Wimbledon, of League One, had yet to win a game inside 90 minutes this season and never recovered once they fell behind.
