MK Dons complete signing of goalkeeper Will Dennis from Bournemouth

MK Dons have signed the goalkeeper Will Dennis from Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee, the League One club's eighth addition of the summer transfer window.

Dennis, 26, moved out on loan to Leyton Orient midway through last season, making 14 straight starts as the club stayed up on the closing day of the campaign. MK Dons have not disclosed the length of his new contract.

At Bournemouth, Dennis was part of a goalkeeping department built around Djordje Petrovic as first choice; the club signed the experienced Fraser Forster on a six-month deal in January as back-up cover after Dennis picked up an injury.

"Will is someone who we have been tracking all summer," head coach Paul Warne told MK Dons' website. "We had to be patient to get our man. However, to improve on our goalkeeping department, we had to make sure we got the acquisition right."
