MK Dons and Peterborough United drew 1-1 in League One on Saturday, Chris Conn-Clarke's late equaliser cancelling out Aaron Collins' first-half opener. The result left both clubs with stuttering starts to the season: MK Dons are still without a league win, while Peterborough have only one.
Conn-Clarke had been on the pitch for seven minutes when he levelled in the 84th minute, his cross eluding everyone on its way into the net. It was a costly finish for MK Dons, who had taken the lead in the 28th minute and could not find a second.
Dennis Keeps Out Early Pressure
A Sam Nombe effort that took a deflection and went wide was an early sign of life, but it was Peterborough who created the better openings. Will Dennis, making his debut in the MK Dons goal, kept out efforts from Harry Leonard and Evan Weir.
