Striker Michael Mellon bagged his second hat-trick of the season as Oldham Athletic beat Tranmere Rovers 3-1 in League Two.
The on-loan Burnley striker's treble enabled his dad Micky to defeat the club he managed to two promotions, with Charlie Whitaker's superb free-kick proving only a brief setback for the hosts.

Mellon headed the opening goal in the 31st minute from a cross by substitute Jake Caprice, who two minutes earlier had replaced the injured Jack Stevens.
