McGlynn and Bocat give Stoke their first away win since January at Watford

· Match Report

Stoke City won 2-1 at Watford on 12 September, with Jack McGlynn and Eric Bocat scoring either side of half-time to give Mark Robins' side their first away league win since 4 January.

Amin Nabizada pulled one back for the hosts in the 90th minute, but Stoke had been the better side throughout, finishing with 18 shots to Watford's six and 59% of the possession. The win stretches their unbeaten Championship run to four matches, three of them victories, while Watford have now lost three of their last four.

Stoke Take Control Before the Break

Stoke were on top from the opening minutes at Vicarage Road. Federico Ravaglia, in the Watford goal, had to make saves in quick succession from Ben Johnson, Ethan Galbraith and Lamine Cisse, and Cisse also had a goal ruled out for offside after a well-worked corner routine.
