In-form striker Jack Marriott helped Reading secure a point in a scrappy 1-1 draw with Mansfield Town in League One at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
Mansfield went ahead through a seventh-minute Tyler Roberts strike before Marriott levelled in the 71st minute to ensure the points were shared in a contest short on composure.
Roberts Pounces Early
Town dominated the early exchanges and took advantage of good work by Rhys Oates on the left flank, with Roberts nipping in to guide his finish past home goalkeeper Joel Pereira.
