Jack Marriott scored twice in the second half as Reading beat Notts County 2-0 in League One on 19 September, extending their run to three successive home league wins.
Reading's top scorer headed the first goal in the 48th minute and the second in the 71st, taking his tally for the season to eight. The win followed defeats at Cambridge United in the league and against Brentford in the League Cup, and left Notts County without a win in their last four league games.
Tsaroulla's Free Kick Goes Close
The first half offered little in the way of clear openings. Notts County had an early chance when Nick Tsaroulla's free kick sailed just over the crossbar.
