Manchester City came from behind to beat Atletico Madrid 3-1 in Seoul, with two goals from Omar Marmoush inside three second-half minutes turning the friendly around. The result closed out City's pre-season tour of Asia.
Atletico took the lead in the 43rd minute when City failed to fully clear a corner from Koke. Morten Hjulmand kept the move alive and found the 16-year-old Jorge Dominguez, who beat Gianluigi Donnarumma from close range. City had created the better chances before the goal, through Tijjani Reijnders, Josko Gvardiol and Savinho.
City equalised in the 57th minute. Antoine Semenyo kept the ball in play near the touchline, drove into the box and squared for Marmoush to finish from close range. The same combination produced an almost identical second goal two minutes later, Marmoush converting another low Semenyo cross to put City 2-1 up.
Rayan Ait-Nouri added a third in the 90th minute, latching onto Divin Mubama's through ball to finish low into the bottom corner, after being denied moments earlier when sent clear by Claudio Echeverri. Atletico gave Lee Kang-in an appearance following his summer move from Paris Saint-Germain, and the South Korea international was given the loudest reception of the afternoon by a crowd of more than 50,000 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. He had a chance to make it 2-2 when found unmarked near the penalty spot, but shot just wide.
