Omar Marmoush and Rayan Cherki struck late as Manchester City came from behind to beat Championship side Swansea City 3-1 in south Wales and book a Carabao Cup quarter-final at home to Brentford.
Goncalo Franco's stunning early strike had given the hosts a deserved lead before Jeremy Doku levelled with a deflected effort. Pep Guardiola's much-changed side eventually wore Swansea down, with Marmoush rifling home 13 minutes from time and Cherki adding a stoppage-time third.
Franco's Wonder Strike Stuns the Champions
Swansea, 13th in the Championship, began on the front foot in front of a sold-out home crowd. Melker Widell, one of six changes, spread the ball wide to Josh Key, who drove infield past Rayan Ait-Nouri and squared for Franco just outside the area.
