Matt Taylor made his return as interim manager of Exeter, but his team could only draw their League One clash with Burton 1-1 at St James Park.
Burton struck first through Udoka Godwin-Malife in the 64th minute, only for substitute Josh Magennis to power home an equaliser nine minutes later and share the spoils in a game Exeter dominated for long spells.

Burton made a really bright start with Tyrese Shade firing across the face of goal, but Exeter had the best early chance when Jayden Wareham scuffed a shot that was blocked after being put in on goal by Jack Aitchison.
