Luton Town and Notts County shared the points in a 2-2 draw at Kenilworth Road as League One's second round of fixtures were played out. The result leaves Luton third with four points from two games (W1 D1 L0); Notts County are 15th on two points (W0 D2 L0).

Nahki Wells put Luton ahead from the penalty spot in the 41st minute, but Notts County were level four minutes later through Callum Roberts. Ollie Cooper, converting a Nick Tsaroulla assist, put the visitors in front in the 60th minute. Luton responded immediately: substitute Callum Marshall, on for Wells in the 61st minute, turned in a Kasey Palmer assist in the 67th to make it 2-2.

Eight cautions were shown in all: five for Luton and three for Notts County, with no player sent off. Luton were forced into an early change when Gideon Kodua replaced the injured Jordan Clark in the 17th minute; Notts made six substitutions in total to Luton's four.
