Lucas Digne, the France international, has completed a move from Aston Villa to Paris St-Germain, returning to the club where he started his career. The 33-year-old left-back has signed a three-year deal at the Parc des Princes after PSG activated an £8.5m release clause in his contract.
Digne spent three years with PSG at the start of his career, making 30 appearances before leaving for Barcelona in 2016. He joined Villa from Everton in 2022 and returns to Paris after eight years in England.
He made 182 appearances in all competitions during four years at Villa Park and started six of France's matches at the World Cup as they reached the semi-finals.
He is expected to provide competition for first-choice left-back Nuno Mendes in a squad that has won the Champions League in successive seasons, most recently beating Arsenal on penalties in the 2026 final.
