Kyreece Lisbie's superb late equaliser rescued Colchester a point in their 1-1 draw with Tranmere at the JobServe Community Stadium.
Tranmere had led for much of the contest through Connor Jennings, but Lisbie's first goal for the club ensured the spoils were shared after a tight encounter.
Jennings Punishes a Scrappy Start
Tranmere took a 15th-minute lead when Connor Jennings swept a low shot past Matt Macey from close range. The goal arrived after Cameron Norman had headed Richie Smallwood's pass into the area, following the hosts' inability to clear a corner.
