Lincoln moved level on points with Stockport at the top of League One after a hard-fought 2-1 win at home to Doncaster, recovering from being pegged back to seal the points.
The hosts thought they had taken the lead early on when former Rovers loanee Rob Street headed home, only for the effort to be quickly chalked off for a foul. Doncaster's Billy Sharp then saw a fierce shot cleared off the line by Sonny Bradley after Lincoln goalkeeper George Wickens was beaten to a loose ball outside his area.
