Torreense won their Europa League first-matchday meeting with Lillestrøm 2-1 at Arasen Stadion on 17 September, finishing the game with ten men.
Alejandro Alfaro put the visitors ahead in the 22nd minute, and Manu Pozo made it 2-0 in the 48th. Pozo was booked for time wasting in the 50th minute and replaced by Nuha Jatta in the 64th. Thomas Lehne Olsen, on in the 59th minute for the injured Fredrik Gulbrandsen, pulled one back for the hosts in the 78th.
Jatta was booked for simulation in the 68th minute and shown a second yellow card for a foul in the 84th, leaving Torreense a man down for the closing stages. David Bruno (56th) and Dany Jean (70th) were also cautioned. Lillestrøm's only booking was Gulbrandsen's in the 57th.
Lillestrøm had most of the ball, with 67% possession to 33%, and 25 attempts to Torreense's 11, six on target to three, and 11 corners to two.
