Lens scored twice in stoppage time to beat 10-man Slavia Prague 3-2 in their Champions League opener, coming from behind twice after Danijel Sturm had put the hosts ahead on two occasions.
Slavia looked to have done the hard part after going down to ten men. Instead Florian Thauvin levelled in the 90th minute and Ruben Aguilar completed the turnaround two minutes later, leaving the Czech side with nothing from matchday one.
Red Card Changes the Game
Mikulás Konecny, who had come on at half-time, was sent off in the 48th minute after bringing down Abdallah Sima and denying him a clear goalscoring chance. The tackle was reviewed by VAR.
