Leicester City have signed the Argentine goalkeeper Franco Ravizzoli from Blackpool on a three-year contract, a free transfer that makes the 29-year-old Russell Martin's seventh signing since he took charge of the League One club this summer.
Ravizzoli has made 99 career appearances in a career that has also taken in Eastbourne Borough, MK Dons and Wycombe Wanderers. He came through the youth academy at River Plate in his native Argentina and trained with Valencia as a youngster.
Blackpool's current goalkeeper, Bailey Peacock-Farrell, joined the club permanently from Birmingham City in January and signed a new contract extension in May that runs to the end of next season.
Ravizzoli is the latest addition to a busy rebuild at the King Power Stadium, where Martin has also brought in the goalkeeper Alex McCarthy, the Manchester City loanee Christian McFarlane, the forward Conor Chaplin and the Wales international Liam Cullen since Leicester's relegation to League One last season.
