Two goals in three second-half minutes saw high-flying Cambridge United win 2-0 at League Two's bottom side Newport County, with Liam Bennett and substitute Sullay Kaikai striking late to settle a hard-fought contest in south Wales.
Newport, buoyed by their midweek success at Salford City, struggled to get going against the Us, while Neil Harris's visitors created the better of the chances before finally turning their pressure into goals in the closing stages.
