Josh Koroma's 63rd-minute winner settled a tight contest at Plymouth as Leyton Orient came away 1-0 victors. The forward beat the offside trap, latched on to Ollie O'Neill's defence-splitting volleyed through ball and fired low into the corner past Luca Ashby-Hammond.
Plymouth showed plenty of intent but were undone by a moment of precision and their own defensive lapses, while Orient carried a persistent threat on the break before delivering the decisive blow.
Argyle Set the Early Tempo
The hosts signalled their ambition from the off, right back Kornel Szucs breaking through on the right before sending a tame shot at goal in the sixth minute. There was also a notable debut for new central defender Alex Mitchell, who featured just a day after joining the Greens on a season-long loan from Charlton.
