Luton Town left it late to deny Leyton Orient victory at the BetWright Stadium, salvaging a 1-1 draw thanks to a stoppage-time equaliser from Gideon Kodua that cancelled out what had looked like a winner from Theo Archibald.
Luton, who made eight changes from their FA Cup defeat at Fleetwood last weekend, had threatened first but were ultimately grateful to escape with a point after Archibald's second-half strike appeared set to settle the contest.
A Cagey Opening Marred by Injury
Luton nearly opened the scoring after five minutes when Jacob Brown crossed for Jerry Yates in the area, but the ball was put just behind the striker. There was little other incident in the first half, with both teams struggling at times to get their passing game going.
