Ben Knight's second-half equaliser earned Cambridge United a 1-1 draw at Oxford United in League One on Saturday, cancelling out Siriki Dembélé's first-half opener at the Kassam Stadium.
Dembélé put the home side in front in the 14th minute, finishing from inside the area after Mark Harris laid the ball off to him. It was the winger's second goal in successive games, following his strike against Burton. Knight levelled in the 56th minute, sending a low left-footed finish into the bottom corner from Dominic Ball's cutback.
Oxford Edge a Controlled First Half
Aaron Ramsey's side had the better of the first half, with Harris twice going close. They lost midfielder Jamie McDonnell to injury early on, Louie Sibley replacing him in the eighth minute.
