Stevenage moved closer to securing a League One play-off place thanks to a 1-0 win at home to Barnsley, with Dan Kemp's first-half goal proving the difference on a night the hosts dominated.
The result left Stevenage sixth and in command of their own destiny, holding a three-point lead over nearest pursuers Luton, even though they should have scored many more, especially in the second half.
Kemp Punishes a Costly Error
The decisive moment arrived 22 minutes in when Kemp took advantage of a slack pass out of defence by the Tykes to run in on goal, squeezing his shot between the diving Owen Goodman and the near post.
