Sullay Kaikai came back to haunt his former side MK Dons with a fine equaliser as Cambridge United took a point home from a 1-1 League Two draw.
Callum Paterson gave the hosts the lead in the 42nd minute before Kaikai's strike levelled the scores midway through the second half, extending Cambridge's unbeaten league run to six games.
Chances Traded Before the Breakthrough
MK Dons came close early on when Cambridge goalkeeper Jake Eastwood narrowly stopped Alex Gilbey's deflected strike from crossing the line. Cambridge's Ben Knight was then denied by home stopper Craig MacGillivray before Kelland Watts prodded the ball wide in a goalmouth scramble.
