Bromley's seven-match winning run came to an end as the League Two leaders had to settle for a point from a goalless draw at Chesterfield amid late drama.
After weathering some pressure, the visitors had a great chance to win it a minute from time when Nicke Kabamba's penalty was saved by Zach Hemming.
Early Exchanges
Mitch Pinnock threatened to give Bromley a first-half lead with a well-struck drive which was palmed away by Hemming. Lee Bonis came close with Chesterfield's one real chance in the first half after getting on the end of an Adam Lewis cross before putting the ball wide.
