Raúl Jiménez came off the bench to score the only goal as Wolverhampton Wanderers beat Sheffield United 1-0 at Bramall Lane in the Championship. The substitute struck in the 89th minute, his third goal of the season.
It was Wolves' first league win in three games. Sheffield United, who had both scored and conceded in 14 of their previous 15 home league games, failed to find the net in a contest with few clear chances.
Cesar Peixoto's changes proved decisive. Jiménez, Tommy Doyle and Kieran Trippier all played a part in the winning goal, and the Wolves manager's bench carried more quality than the hosts could answer.
