Jack Marriott cancelled out Kyle Wootton's opener as Reading came from behind to draw 1-1 at Stockport County.
The hosts began the game brightly and went close to opening the scoring after four minutes when Brad Hills powered a header against the top of the crossbar from a corner. Reading responded and missed a big chance of their own when Daniel Kyerewaa, sent clean through on goal, miscontrolled under pressure.
Wootton Punishes the Visitors
Reading struggled to combat the physicality of Stockport in the first half and fell behind after 22 minutes. Ben Osborn's centre was headed across goal by Tyler Onyango, leaving Wootton to tap home from close range.
