A stoppage-time own goal from Aden Flint saw Cheltenham upset League Two high flyers Walsall 1-0 at the EV Charger Points Stadium, a cruel ending for a Walsall side that had started the day top of the table.
The decisive moment arrived in the second minute of added time. After good work from Jake Bickerstaff, substitute Tommy Taylor's shot was blocked in the box and the ball deflected in off centre-back Flint to settle a tight contest in the hosts' favour.
Chances Traded Before the Break
Walsall threatened first when Aaron Pressley missed the target from a good position in the 15th minute. Home goalkeeper Joe Day then had to save well twice from Rico Browne as the visitors pressed for an opener.
