Watford drew once more on their reputation as the Championship's comeback specialists, overturning a deficit twice before Tom Ince struck a late winner in a breathless 3-2 victory over struggling Norwich City at Vicarage Road.
Josh Sargent and Oscar Schwartau twice had the Canaries in front, only for Luca Kjerrumgaard to reply with a brace of headers on either side of half-time. Ince, introduced early because of an injury to Giorgi Chakvetadze, then swept in a composed finish 12 minutes from time to give the hosts their first win in three matches, edging them closer to the play-off places and keeping Norwich rooted in the drop zone.

Fortified by four consecutive wins over Watford in all competitions, including a narrow Carabao Cup success at Vicarage Road in August, Norwich arrived with a confidence that belied their position near the foot of the table. Philippe Clement's side were on the front foot from the first whistle, with Emiliano Marcondes almost giving them a dream start by scooping a shot just wide from 18 yards inside the opening 20 seconds.
