Igor Jesus wins it late for Forest: Villa still without a league victory

Igor Jesus scored in the 87th minute as Nottingham Forest won 2-1 away to Aston Villa on Saturday, giving Oliver Glasner his first win as Forest head coach and leaving Villa without a victory after four Premier League matches.

Liam Delap put Forest ahead 45 seconds into the second half, Alysson levelled in the 73rd minute with his first goal for the club, and Jesus won it after Villa had been reduced to ten men, Ian Maatsen going off injured in the 82nd minute with all of Unai Emery's substitutions already used.

It is Forest's first win at Villa Park since 1994, and Glasner has still not lost in eight meetings with Emery, winning six. For Villa it is three defeats and a draw from their opening four league matches, the second season running they have begun without a win in four.
