Hondermarck Strike Sends Bromley 19 Unbeaten as 10-Man Rovers Fall

· Match Report

Bromley stretched their unbeaten run to 19 league games with a 1-0 win over 10-man Bristol Rovers to maintain their hold on pole position in League Two.

Will Hondermarck's 18th-minute strike settled a contest in which Bromley created the clearer chances either side of the interval, before Shaq Forde's late dismissal ended any hope of a Rovers fightback.

Hondermarck Settles It Early

Bromley started quickly with Ashley Charles' deflected drive going inches over the crossbar, but they did not have to wait long to take the lead. Will Hondermarck's strong drive and finish on the angle proved too hot for Brad Young to deal with 18 minutes into the game.
