Guéhi's late header edges a pulsating derby as Palace climb into the top four
Marc Guéhi's 87th-minute header gave Crystal Palace a 2-1 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage and lifted Oliver Glasner's side into the Premier League's top four. In an open, finely balanced London derby, the Palace captain burst across the near post to meet Yeremy Pino's corner and break home hearts just when it seemed both sides would have to settle for a draw.
Eddie Nketiah had earlier marked his first Premier League start of the season with a precise finish midway through the first half, only for Harry Wilson to conjure a stunning equaliser seven minutes before the interval. Fulham then thought they had completed the comeback when Emile Smith Rowe followed in after Alex Iwobi's header struck the woodwork, but VAR ruled Samuel Chukwueze marginally offside in the build-up, and Palace, despite a punishing schedule and the absence of Daniel Muñoz, finished the stronger to secure back-to-back away wins.
Fulham's fast start, Palace's ruthless response.
