Chesterfield boosted their League Two play-off hopes with a 3-0 victory over Colchester, with Will Grigg, Dilan Markanday and Lee Bonis all on the scoresheet.
The Spireites bounced back from Saturday's defeat at Barnet to climb into the top seven, while Colchester slipped seven points off the pace in the play-off race.
Grigg Sets the Tone From the Spot
Grigg had already threatened early on with a header that was saved by Matt Macey before opening the scoring from the penalty spot in the 26th minute, after Harvey Araujo was penalised for handling the ball inside the area.
