MK Dons made it four wins in a row in League Two with a 3-1 victory over Crewe Alexandra. Will Collar put the hosts ahead before captain Alex Gilbey struck twice either side of half-time, with Louis Moult grabbing a late consolation for the visitors.
The result extended the Dons' positive form, while Crewe missed out on the chance to jump above their hosts in the table after suffering a second consecutive defeat.
Collar Strikes First
The hosts, who had won their previous three matches, took the lead in the 23rd minute. Crewe failed to clear Callum Paterson's cross, and Marvin Ekpiteta teed up Collar, whose snapshot found the back of the net.
