Second-half strikes from Alex Gilbey and Callum Paterson secured MK Dons a 2-0 victory against Barrow at the SO Legal Stadium.
MK Dons dominated the opening half but a mixture of good stops from Wyll Stanway and some poor finishing kept the scores level at the break. The visitors then took a deserved lead after the interval as Gilbey scored his first goal of the season, with the points secured when Paterson slotted home just eight minutes later.
Visitors Frustrated Before the Break
MK Dons took the upper hand early on and were left frustrated when they had a goal disallowed. Rushian Hepburn-Murphy capitalised on a poor back pass, rounded Stanway and slotted home, but a goal kick was signalled as the ball had gone out of play.
