Doncaster Rovers ended a 10-game winless run with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Peterborough United, with Jordan Gibson's first-half brace ultimately enough to withstand a spirited visiting fightback.
Gibson scored twice in an excellent first half from Rovers, but Peterborough roared back after the break and narrowed the deficit through substitute Harry Leonard before time ran out on their comeback.

Gibson opened the scoring on seven minutes when he met Luke Molyneux's fine delivery and finished well across Alex Bass.
