Galloway's Stoppage-Time Strike Sends Plymouth Past Luton

· Match Report

Plymouth extended their League One winning run to three with a 1-0 victory over play-off chasing Luton at Home Park, Brendan Galloway's first-half stoppage-time goal proving the difference.

The Pilgrims were the better side for long spells, but had to survive a late Luton revival to hold on to all three points and a clean sheet against opponents pushing for promotion.

Argyle Lay Siege Before the Break

Matty Sorinola was denied by Nigel Lonwijk's clearance off the line in the 13th minute after being teed up by Bim Pepple, and winger Ronan Curtis came close to marking his home debut with a goal, smashing the ball off the bar from 20 yards in the 39th minute.
