Marcus Forss scored twice on his full league debut for Bolton as they ended 11 years of pain with a 4-1 League One win against neighbours Wigan.
Since their last home league victory over Latics in November 2014, Bolton had failed to win any of the next four games, losing the last three by a 10-0 aggregate. This time Steven Schumacher's side made no mistake, sealing an impressive third win of the campaign.

Thierry Gale's first third-tier goal after 15 minutes set Bolton on their way. Five minutes later Gale turned provider, setting up Middlesbrough loanee Forss to open his Trotters account.
