League Two leaders Walsall had to dig deep to see off bottom side Newport County, recovering from an early scare to win 4-2 in an action-packed contest at Rodney Parade.
Ryan Finnigan struck twice and there were also goals for Daniel Kanu and Rico Browne, while Kai Whitmore and Gerard Garner replied for the hosts in a breathless first half that produced six goals.
