Farrell's Added-Time Rescue Earns 10-Man Barnsley a Point Against Bradford

· Match Report

Leo Farrell's first goal for the club rescued a point for 10-man Barnsley deep into added time against promotion-chasing Bradford City, in a 2-2 draw that swung repeatedly before its dramatic conclusion.

Reduced to ten men inside the opening ten minutes, Barnsley led through Eoghan O'Connell only for Nick Powell to level. Bradford then went in front through a Marc Roberts own goal, before Farrell bundled the ball home six minutes into added time to send the home fans wild.

An Early Setback

The contest turned on its head eight minutes in when Vimal Yoganathan left the referee no choice but to show him a straight red card for a poor lunging tackle on Ibou Touray.
