Two-goal Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan helped Reading back into the League One play-off places after a comfortable 3-0 victory over lowly Wigan.
The Royals raced into an early 2-0 lead through a header from Ehibhatiomhan and an own goal from Wigan defender Will Aimson, before the striker struck again after the break to extend their unbeaten home record to 10 matches.
