Rotherham gave their survival hopes a timely boost with a 1-0 win over Plymouth, ending a four-game losing streak and easing some of the pressure on manager Matt Hamshaw.
The Millers got off to a flying start on seven minutes when Dru Yearwood's shot was diverted in smartly by Joe Rafferty, and a stern second-half defensive display protected the lead to the finish.
Chances Spurned Before the Break
Rotherham could have gone two up twice before the interval when Sam Nombe broke through and had his shot saved one-on-one by Luca Ashby-Hammond.
