Dykes struck twice in a late burst for his first goals for Millwall, turning a scrappy Championship game into a 4-0 win over Bolton Wanderers on an afternoon when both sides finished with ten men.
Caleb Taylor's header gave the hosts the lead in the 37th minute, but the match was settled in the last nine. Dykes scored in the 82nd and 87th minutes and Camiel Neghli added a fourth in stoppage time, with Jenson Metcalfe and Bolton captain Josh Sheehan both sent off in between, in the 85th minute.
It was a welcome result for a Millwall side with 11 first-team players unavailable and two heavy defeats behind them, and a third straight loss for Bolton.
