Michael Duff's first game in charge of Wycombe ended in a 2-0 victory as they defeated Northampton Town at Adams Park.
Taking the reins following Mike Dodds' sacking 48 hours earlier, the Chairboys looked more energetic, bright and full of life, and they translated that intensity into a comfortable afternoon's work against their visitors.
A Relentless Opening
Wycombe registered six shots in the opening five minutes, immediately setting the tempo. Ewan Henderson's bending effort was brilliantly saved by Lee Burge, while attempts by Jamie Mullins and Fred Onyedinma went just wide of the mark.
