Aaron Drinan scored a hat-trick as Swindon Town came from a goal down to beat Colchester United 3-1 in League Two on Saturday, matchday five of the season. Kylian Kouassi had put the visitors ahead in the 12th minute, but Drinan struck in the 48th, 76th and 78th minutes to turn the match round.
Colchester had the better of the match for long spells and finished with 18 shots to Swindon's 14, seven of them on target to Swindon's six, and 61% of the possession. They could not turn that into a second goal, and Swindon made the most of their chances in the second half.
Colchester Start Fast
Kouassi gave Colchester the lead in the 12th minute after Moses Sesay spotted his run and slipped him through, and the striker finished high into the top of the net.
