Doncaster Rovers put more daylight between themselves and relegation-threatened neighbours Rotherham with a 2-1 victory, fighting back from an early deficit with second-half goals from Brandon Hanlan and Luke Molyneux.
The win moved Rovers eight points clear of the Millers, who had every reason to believe in something better after taking the lead inside the opening minutes.
Rotherham's Lightning Start
Rotherham were handed a chance to take the lead after just 23 seconds when Duncan Watmore scampered by Jay McGrath and was tripped in the box. Sam Nombe stepped up and sent Thimothee Lo-Tutala the wrong way to give the Millers a third-minute lead.
