Stockport County made it two wins from two as they defeated Wycombe Wanderers 2-1 at Adams Park, with Kyle Wootton and Jack Diamond on the scoresheet for the visitors.
Wycombe began the brighter and pressed for an early opener, but a missed penalty proved costly as Mike Dodds' side ultimately fell short despite a late reply.
Chairboys Start Strong But Punished
The hosts were the more threatening early on, with Fred Onyedinma and Armando Junior Quitirna both seeing fierce shots blocked, while Stockport goalkeeper Corey Addai did brilliantly to thwart a Dan Casey header from a Luke Leahy cross.
